Shores & Ruark Seafood was established in 1976 on the Chesapeake Bay. Our business in 1976 was primarily like most Chesapeake Seafood businesses; we shucked oysters, shed soft shell crabs and hand picked blue crabs. Today we still perform all of these processes to a very high standard and Shores & Ruark Seafood, Inc is also active in renewing and restoring one of the Chesapeake Bay’s prized gift, …the Chesapeake Bay Oyster.It is our mission to provide quality seafood to reputable retailers. At Shores & Ruark Seafood we are also dedicated to “giving back” and providing future generations with a renewable resource. We are excited that you have come to our website.
